By redesigning the follower, body, and spring geometry, these magazines are able to fit 2 more rounds in the same space as the 5-round mag. As a result, rounds loaded in the 7-round mag are under more force. Because the chemical rounds are designed to break on impact, this additional force means there is a greater chance they could break in the magazine. If this is a concern, consider using these mags only with the kinetic ammo and use the 5-round mags for the max, pepper, and eco ammo.
